ANYONE experiencing dizziness or falls resulting from: BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), Car and Motion sickness, or other balance related ailments. Often not identifiable by the person, the family will often notice that an elderly member may be having balance problems. This is often not only due to a decline of balance with age, but general deconditioning. Dizziness, Nausea, light headedness, poor balance and headaches -
Acute and chronic balance disturbances
Poor balance due to ageing, deconditioning, vertigo, or other causes such as Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease can be effectively treated and balance improved. Often it will be family or friends that notice there is a problem and initiate a referral for Care. Again, we evaluate both static and dynamic balances, strength, and endurance and produce an individualized treatment
program for our clients.
Motion sickness and motion-
Motion Sickness can often be very effectively treated, even if you have had it for years (or forever). There are very often very basic reflexive exercises that involve the vestibular system and the visual system that can be completed to help. Gaze stability is very important when treating motion sickness and clients are very often surprised at how quickly we can help.
