Athletic Therapy and Custom Bracing/Orthotics
Jay graduated from Sheridan College with a Diploma in Sports Injury Management and worked with the Mississauga Ice Dogs hockey team as their trainer. Since then, he has been involved in the clinical setting, not only treating injuries but developing various sports related training programs for athletes. He also runs a successful custom bracing and orthotic business called "The Next Season" out of the clinic.
Don started his career in physiotherapy and fitness first with his personal experience of coaching his son Ben, who by the way is currently taking Kinesiology at Brock University. Don obtained is certification in Personal Training prior to returning to school at the ripe old age of 40. Don's physio experiences led him to Brantwood Development Centre working with adults with physical and mental disabilities and to London Health Science Hospitals where Don worked in almost every department but was primarily in Neurology and Stroke. Don is driven to be the best, augmented with a great love of others and life.
When Lisa joined the Great Lakes Physiotherapy team, she brought with her a bundle of energy, an always cheery disposition, and a vast knowledge to keep the gym and exercise programs for our clients running smoothly
Jeff originally from London, Ontario graduated from the University of Waterloo in Kinesiology and completed his Physiotherapy degree from McMaster University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He has worked in Corpus Christi, Texas for five years where he completed Manual Therapy coursework at the University of St. Augustine in Florida. He gained valuable experience as a clinical director for five clinics and returned to Canada in 2001 and opened Great Lakes Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine. Jeff also holds certification in acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and has an interest in myofascial dysfunctions and has also specialized in the treatment of vestibular dysfunction (dizziness), joint pain and temporomandibular (TMJ) problems.
Roxanne graduated from The University of Western Ontario (London, ON) in 2010 with
her Masters of Physiotherapy, and previously from Canisius College (Buffalo, NY)
with a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training in 2004. She has since obtained accreditation
with the Canadian Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 2012 through McMaster University
in Hamilton. Roxanne expresses her main interests as being in orthopaedics, acute
injury, vertigo and dizziness, and surgical cases. She has worked extensively with
hockey and baseball teams at the junior, semi-
Sarabjeet enjoys this profession and aim is always to help her patients achieve their health and fitness related goals. She has worked with a wide range of patient populations including Sports Injuries, Work related injuries and various other orthopeadic related private clients. She enjoys working in a team environment, developing effective treatment plans and spending time with her two children and husband.
Sushant graduated from Baba Farid University of health sciences, India in 2010. He has worked in various multi specialty hospitals and sports rehabilitation centers for about 5 years and also has Worked as Demonstrator in a Physiotherapy school where he teached and mentored physiotherapy students before he moved to Canada in 2015. He is a part of Great lakes rehabilitation for the past 2 years and is a great asset to our team. He is vastly experienced in treating patients with variety of musculoskeletal injuries, Post surgical patients including fractures, hip knee and shoulder replacements surgeries, TMJ pain, Vertigo/dizziness.
He understands that each patient presents with different impairments and always utilize his evidence
Hayley graduated from Lakehead University with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology and worked at a local outdoor store sizing and fitting expedition gear through her studies. Hayley shortly after began her career as a cardiac technician in Thunder Bay at a COPD and sleep apnea clinic. After moving to Australia for a year, she spent her time traveling and volunteering for athletic organizations such as The Special Olympics and local marathons around Brisbane. Upon her return, she has settled in Simcoe, ON and thrilled to be apart of the team at GLP.
Chris joined our team in 2014. She brings with her extensive medical office experience. Although you will find her hard at work behind the scenes, she is very approachable and is always willing to face a challenge or address issues that patients or staff may have.
Lori joined our staff in September of 2004, and has been a valuable asset to our team. She has extensive experience in office work and keeps our front desk organized and the clinic functioning in a timely manner.
